Alex Spalding – Manager
Alex began her CSS career in December 2015 as a Guest Attendant. It was immediately evident that Alex showed promise for quick advancement through her strong work ethic and leadership skills and has since been promoted to PM Manager. Alex comes from a background in the mortgage business but once she got her feet wet working for another boarding facility she discovered her true passion was in caring for animals. Alex plans to continue building her career in the animal field with an emphasis on rehabilitation and/or animal control.
Alex is originally from Nebraska, but has been in Colorado over eleven years. She and her wife spend their time caring for their Chiweenie, Jax, and enjoy all sports and outdoor activities.
DaNelle Hammond – Manager
DaNelle is a strong member of the CSS Team. She grew up in Parker and has had a love for animals since getting her first puppy at six years old. DaNelle spent the last ten years working in convenience store management where her talent for customer service and sales helped increase revenue thirty percent at each store while cutting turnover to nearly zero. DaNelle always wanted to work with animals, though she wasn’t sure how to make a career change into that area. Fortunately for us, she happened to be looking at a time when we were hiring. She fosters loyalty and dedication from the Team she is assigned to lead. Her calm, cool, and collected demeanor is an asset during the fast-paced demands of Pet Care and Personalized Customer Service that CSS provides. DaNelle lives with her partner and their three dogs and three cats, and enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling in their spare time.
Jacob McGaha – Manager
Jacob was one of our youngest Guest Attendants starting his career at CSS in 2011. Jacob worked part-time while finishing school and then went full time after graduation. Jacob immediately showed strong leadership skills and became the “go-to guy” for understanding everything CSS.
Jacob is now a CSS Manager and is responsible for managing the Team who cares for our furry Guests. His duties include assisting with the maintenance of the Parker facility and ordering supplies. Jacob has also become an accomplished assistant in our Dog Training Department and is quite good at handling Dogs of all sizes and temperaments. It was clear from the beginning that Karen was committed to CSS’s growth and has been an integral part of the CSS Team. Karen quickly grew from Front Desk Concierge to Office Manager and is now responsible for training all new Front Desk employees on our POS software, policies, and procedures. She also maintains our website and social media pages. Karen earned the Level 1 Pet Care Technician certification in 2010 as well as being trained in Animal CPR.
